Rey Mysterio has gained a lot of weight since wrestling has been defunct. He stopped working out so much and has been living off the money he had. It is not enough for him to live off of, but it's enough to get him through until he could find another gig, or until the next CWA Return. He has expressed a wish to return to the ring, but Ric flair wants him to lose some weight first. Rey claims that he could still wretle like he used to, even with a few more pounds.
Triple H has been still acting busy. He travels from place to place doing interviews and skits on tv shows. Lately, he has taken a break and went to his Connecticut home to train and prepare for Rage in The Cage in which he thinks can jumpstart CWA again.
Batista lately has been actively involved in fitness competitions and charity work. He has done some work in Indy leagues, making appearances and once working a match. He says that if CWA doesn't make a full time return soon, he will start training for MMA.
MVP and Ric had a long conversation about their career recently. Ric told MVP to his face that he cannot think of any storylines for him, and basically told MVP to take his own turn. He left it up to MVP to decide his gimmick pretty much, and doesn't have a lot of time to shwo Ric that he can still bring in a crowd and be part of the roster.
Big Show, since the show closing again, had been working out, and has been getting in better shape. He stated that he has been doing a lot of boxing to stay in shape and lost weight. He said that "if CWA makes a full time return, I'll (laughs) I'll cut all my hair off my head". A bet that many will hold him to.
Kane was reportedly staying in a complete wrestling mode. He has been working matches in Indy leagues since the CWA ended, and has even been part of the unofficial roster of one indy league, actually winning a title match in that league. Many say he hasn't changed at all, and still ha the same moveset/gimmick/finishers/etc etc.
Ric Flair is also convinced that one superstar is all it'll take to jumpstart CWA into another long run. He doesn't know exactly who he has his eye on yet, but says that "Either a new superstar needs to come in to take the cake, and bring CWA back, or one of the oldies needs to take a huge turn in their career and take the leader role".
(Either need a new dude to take CWA, or a new attire for an old dude)
